Janet Jackson postponed two concert dates this week on her nationwide Rock Witchu Tour due to an undisclosed illness, a rep for the singer said Tuesday.

Jackson, 42, has delayed her Wednesday show in Boston and a Thursday performance in Philadelphia until further notice. She will resume her tour Saturday in Greensboro, N.C.

The postponements come a day after the singer suddenly fell ill during a sound check in Montreal and was rushed to the hospital, forcing her to cancel her Monday night show. She was released a couple of hours later. The nature of her illness wasn't reported.

MADAM-PAL BUST

New York Post
March 29, 2008 --

The alleged second in command at a high-end hooker ring that serviced former Gov. Eliot Spitzer was busted today after a night on the lam, officials said.

Pretty Bronx brunette Grace O'Toole, 24, who left her apartment Friday night and fled with several bags and a cat travel case to her mother's home in Saddle Brook, NJ, turned herself in to the NYPD late this afternoon with her lawyer, law-enforcement sources said.

She was charged with promoting prostitution, a Class D felony, cops said.

O'Toole is accused of running the day-to-day operations of Wicked Models, a multimillion-dollar prostitution ring allegedly headed by now-jailed madam Kristin Davis.

The ring had thousands of wealthy Manhattan clients, including Spitzer, sources said.

The pretty brunette is a college student who loves botany, according to her postings on the Internet.

Her family would not talk about the situation, but others who know her were stunned to learn she had been linked to the hooker ring.

"This is a shock to me," said Annette Derose, whose son Christopher is engaged to O'Toole.

"Whatever she did, that's her business, but it's like, whoa, never in my wildest dreams."

Derose said it wouldn't surprise her if her son - a Marine on his second tour in Iraq - was in the dark about her alleged dirty work.

"Maybe she was keeping it from him, too," she said. "If he knew that, I don't think he would be with her - because he's a one-girl man.

"What you see is what you get."

She added that she has no plans to tell Christopher about O'Toole's alleged illicit activities.

"I will not do that to him," Derose said. "I don't think he needs any more stress."

O'Toole sent her fiancé a cryptic message via MySpace on Friday night that said: "Chris, I love you. Please remember that. Always!!!! You're my baby baby baby."

O'Toole did not respond to messages sent online, where she has a strong presence under screen names "Miss Lonelyhearts" and "spunky gurly gurl."

On the Web site 43things.com, she explains as "spunky gurl gurl" that when she was 18, "I was uneducated and unemployed. I utilized all my free time gardening in my Bronx bedroom."

On her 19th birthday, she wrote that she was "depressed, lonely and without a plan" until one day she visited the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens by herself and "decided I wanted to work there."

She enrolled in Bronx Community College to earn a degree in horticulture but ended up burned out and quit school.

As O'Toole dealt with her connection to the ring, so did New York Rangers left winger Sean Avery, who was alleged in a published report to be one of the many johns listed in Davis' black book.

At today's practice, Avery said he and his teammates have been "laughing hysterically over it.

"I do know that if I ever were to venture into one of those establishments, I definitely wouldn't use my own name," he said. "That's stating the obvious."

He said he has "a lot of enemies," and joked, "It could be a tri-state player who started this whole conspiracy."

Avery added he has no concerns about legal issues.

But Davis' lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, said Avery is steamed about the story.

"[Avery] is poised to initiate a $100 million defamation lawsuit against the Daily News for the piece which he perceives to be defamatory and which he believes will severely damage his public image, his reputation and his potential endorsement opportunities," he said.

Heller also says the black book that formed the basis of the story may be a fraud.

"It's my unequivocal belief that if [another newspaper] is alleging to have a black book belonging to Kristin Davis, it is absolutely 100 percent not authentic."

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is looking to showcase infamous call girl Ashley Dupre on his new MTV reality show, according to People.com

Dupre, who brought down Spitzer, is "the perfect candidate" for the series - which will send 15 hard-bitten girls to finishing school - an insider told the celebrity Web site.

Actor Heath Ledger dies at 28

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Actor Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday of a possible drug overdose in a Lower Manhattan apartment, the New York Police Department said.

The Academy Award-nominated actor was 28.

Ledger was found naked and unresponsive, facedown on the floor at the foot of his bed by a housekeeper trying to wake him for an appointment with a masseuse, said police spokesman Paul Browne.

"Pills were found in the vicinity of the bed," he told CNN.

"This is being looked at as a possible overdose, but that is not confirmed yet."

Browne later told reporters some prescription medications were found in the room, including sleeping pills.

But he stressed police have made no determination of the cause of Ledger's death -- that would be done by the medical examiner.

He said the pills were not "scattered about."

No note was found and there was no indication of foul play, Browne said. Ledger was found at about 3 p.m., and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel about 3:30 p.m.

A crowd of onlookers, photographers and reporters gathered outside the apartment building after news of Ledger's death was reported. Police officers were guarding the doors.

Browne said he did not know how long Ledger had been renting the apartment, which he said took up the entire fourth floor.

An autopsy would be conducted on Wednesday, said Ellen Borakove, spokeswoman for the New York City medical examiner's office.

Ledger's family called his death "very tragic, untimely and accidental."

"Heath has touched so many people on so many different levels during his short life, but few had the pleasure of truly knowing him," his father said.

"He was a down-to-earth, generous, kindhearted, life-loving, unselfish individual extremely inspirational to many."

Blackwell’s 10 Worst Dressed Celebrities of 2007

Mr. Blackwell has announced his 10 Worst Dressed Celebrities of 2007. Victoria Beckham took the top spot on the list. About 70% of his selections we think were the Worst Dressed Celeb of the Day’

Blackwell’s Top 10 Worst Dressed Celebrities

  1. Victoria Beckham - Posh Spice likes to think she is at the cutting edge of fashion when often she seems to be wearing something that is a bit too low cut and futuristic.

  2. Amy Winehouse - Winehouse would have nothing to wear at all if Britain outlowed the slutty wife-beater tank tops she is often wearing with her mini-skirts.

  3. Mary-Kate Olsen - MK would be on the cutting edge of fasion if it was still 1992 and Eddie Vedder was leading the over-sized plaid shirt rebellion.

  4. Fergie - She usually doesn’t stick out that often but she had a few fashion no-no’s in 2007 including her concert performance where she wet her pants.

  5. Kelly Clarkson - Kelly often dresses like she just picked up the latest fashion at Wal-Mart. She usually goes for comfort over style.

  6. Eva Green - I have no real clue who she is.  I think maybe she was a Bond Girl.

  7. Avril Lavigne - Avril has her own style like it or not. I don’t think she should have made Blackwell’s list.

  8. Jessica Simpson - Jessica’s attempt to wear Paul Bunyon’s jeans was enough alone to put her in fashion infamy. She is usually sexy, sometimes slutty.

  9. Lindsay Lohan - Lohan would have loved to have been popular in the 80’s with all of the spandex tights she wears. I think she wears the same pair of black ones to the gym, bed, and out to the club.

  10. Alison Arngrim - If you haven’t been famous in over 25 years then you have no spot on this list. Arngrim was a child star who played Nellie Oleson on Little House on the Prarie.
